We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Meal & Activity Center Manager to join our team in providing engaging and meaningful activities for our clients. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors. This position is perfect for individuals who have a passion for senior care and want to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors.
It is possible that the position may include additional hours in the future.
Responsibilities Facilitate group and individual activities that promote socialization, creativity, and physical activity.
Establish monthly calendar of daily events for meal site participants. Conduct ongoing program activities.
Schedule and conduct meetings with the Client Advisory Board Members to assist with program planning.
Complete DOEA Form 701C for enrollment and reassessment of consumers into the congregate meal program as needed.
Coordinate transportation of participants to and from the meal site, as required.
Maintain a meal reservation system. Maintains meal service records; numbers ordered and served.
Keep daily records of clients’ attendance and use of transportation services.
Be responsible for site condition and inventory of equipment and supplies.
Maintain meal site in a neat, tidy, and sanitary manner. Sweeping main area daily and mopping meal site twice weekly, all equipment used to hold and prepare meals such as ovens and refrigerators need to be cleaned as well. Freezers need to be defrosted at least once a month or as needed.
The ability to lift 25 pounds.
