Licensed Preschool Director (Part-Time)
The Little Gym of Port Saint Lucie is seeking a licensed Preschool/Daycare Director to help launch and oversee a preschool prep program for children ages 3–4.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional who is passionate about education and wants a part-time leadership role for 3-5 mornings per week.
For a candidate with gymnastics or dance experience, additional hours may be available, if preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and lead a new preschool prep program for children ages 3–4
- Assist with obtaining and maintaining all required licensing and regulatory compliance for our preschool prep program
- Serve as the designated licensed director for the program
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable state and local requirements
- Help develop and oversee age-appropriate curriculum and classroom procedures
- Communicate with families regarding student progress and program activities
- Lead or assist with program operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Must meet Florida requirements to serve as a licensed Child Care Facility Director
- Experience teaching in a preschool, daycare, VPK, or early childhood education setting
- Experience managing a preschool, daycare, or early childhood education program preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development
