Allied Recruiting Services is seeking motivated candidates interested in beginning a career
handling residential property insurance claims. Selected candidates may be considered for our Property Claims Career Preparation Program and referral to participating insurance carriers, claims organizations and adjusting firms across the United States.
No previous claims-adjusting experience is required for entry-level consideration.
What Property Claims Adjusters Do
- Speak with homeowners and policyholders following fires, storms, water damage, theft and other covered losses.
- Review policies, claim documentation, photographs and supporting records.
- Inspect damaged homes and personal property, either in the field or virtually.
- Prepare estimates, document building/contents damage and maintain timely claim files.
- Coordinate with contractors, mitigation companies and housing professionals.
- Evaluate Additional Living Expense (ALE) documentation and explain the claims process.
- Training & Career Support
- Property-claims preparation, terminology and policy-fundamentals instruction
- Adjuster licensing education, examination assistance and potential sponsorship for approved candidates
- Temporary Housing & ALE Certification training
- Resume preparation, interview coaching and introduction to Xactimate concepts
- Application support and referral consideration for nationwide opportunities
Types of Opportunities-
Available roles depend on the hiring employer and local business needs. Opportunities may
include:
- Field-based or home-based roles with local property inspections
- Remote desk-adjusting positions
- Hybrid or office-based trainee positions
- Catastrophe-response assignments
- Residential property, homeowners, contents or ALE focused claims roles

Basic Qualifications
- High-school diploma or GED required
- One year of customer-service, sales, hospitality, housing, construction, real-estate or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication, customer-service, computer and problem-solving skills
- Able to pass applicable employer/licensing checks and obtain required adjuster licenses
- Valid driver's license required for most field positions
- Field candidates must be comfortable inspecting homes, climbing ladders, entering confined areas and traveling locally
- Authorized to work in the United States
Compensation & Earning Potential
Compensation is determined by the hiring employer, position, experience and location. Entry-level property-claims opportunities commonly advertise approximately $45,000–$86,000 annually.
With experience, catastrophe deployments, overtime, performance incentives and
advancement into senior or specialized property-claims roles, qualified adjusters may earn
$100,000 or more annually.
Earnings are not guaranteed and vary by employer, licensing, experience, assignment availability, location, overtime and individual performance.
