We are seeking motivated Owner Operators and 24FT-26FT Box Truck and Dually and gooseneck 40ft trailers owners to join our dynamic logistics team! Duties
- Safely operate your own 24FT-26FT box truck in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws
- Load, secure, and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment
- Deliver goods to designated locations while adhering to scheduled routes and delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch using mobile devices to confirm delivery details and report issues promptly
- Load & unload shipments efficiently, ensuring proper weight handling practices and safe lifting techniques
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or courier services with a focus on warehouse operations and material handling
- Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic regulations, and safe lifting practices
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely
- Familiarity with warehouse experience, including moving goods using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Skilled in manual handling, heavy lifting, and adhering to workplace weight handling protocols
- Experience with mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation purposes
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and safety standards
