Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Primary Function:
-
Position is responsible for the preventive maintenance and repair of facility equipment. Shift needing to be filled is 6AM-6PM, on a weekly rotating schedule.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plate equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Diagnose mechanical and operational issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.

Execute repairs and replacements of worn or damaged components in a timely manner to minimize production interruptions.

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities and communicate equipment status.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future upkeep.

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing maintenance tasks.

Assist in the installation and commissioning of new plate equipment as needed.

Required to comply with work, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
-
2-3 years' experience required, preferably with plate machinery or similar mechanical systems.
-
Must have excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
-
Must be able to successfully demonstrate mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repair knowledge and experience.

Welding or fabrication skills related to plate equipment repair.
-
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-
Must be able to communicate well with all levels of management and plant employees both verbally and in written form.
-
Must maintain valid forklift license.
-
Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
-
Must maintain prompt and regular attendance.
-
Job requires mobility throughout the plants, extended periods of walking or standing, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and bend, twist, kneel and climb.

Understands the environmental directives of EPC.

Understands the environmental impact of their division.
