Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a FedEx Delivery Driver, where you will be the friendly face delivering packages efficiently and safely to our valued customers. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks and personal vehicles, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws.
- Load, unload, and secure packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary.
- Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or route planning tools to maximize productivity and punctuality.
- Deliver packages directly to customers’ locations, providing excellent customer service through friendly communication and professional conduct.
- Adhere to safe lifting practices when manually handling heavy or bulky items, ensuring personal safety and compliance with workplace weight handling standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of deliveries made, package conditions, and any incidents or delays encountered.
- Assist with warehouse operations when required, including inventory management, moving packages within the facility, and supporting warehouse staff with material handling equipment operation.
Skills
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route driving and delivery procedures.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to operate commercial trucks, box trucks, or manual transmission vehicles confidently and safely.
- Experience with personal vehicle delivery or courier services is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques, heavy lifting safety practices, and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Strong adherence to traffic regulations, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices at all times.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Competence in using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and communication purposes.

Pay: $160.00 - $170.00 per day
