Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Quality Supervisor to join our team . The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position involves conducting thorough quality inspections, paperwork and documentation, participating in quality audits and randomly performing internal quality audits, among other things as assigned by the Quality Manager.

This role reports to Quality Manager and requires regular and, at times frequent, communication – especially during training period.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of 2-5 Quality Inspectors to ensure Company processes are followed while collaborating with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform internal quality audits to assess adherence to Company Processes and Procedures.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
- Participate in training sessions related to quality assurance processes and best practices.
- Assisting with updating/maintaining Part to Picture Verification books, as well as creating and/or updating/maintaining Quality Alert Placards or other Quality postings.
- Will work in tandem with Quality Manager to monitor Customer Portals and/or maintain email correspondence.
- Other tasks/duties as assigned by Quality Manager.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality inspection within an automotive environment.
- Must have proficient Microsoft Office experience – Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Ability to use and/or quickly learn systems and/or software – i.e ERP systems (we use Plex), Customer Portals, etc.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and customer communication – which includes ability write professional emails/correspondence.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt easily to potential changes on a day to day basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
