Help Build World-Class Industrial Equipment
French is seeking experienced mechanical assemblers, electrical assemblers, machine builders, and industrial technicians to support an increase in production demand.
This is a temporary project assignment anticipated to last approximately six months. We are interested in both full-time and part-time candidates who can contribute their skills during this period of increased manufacturing activity.
Whether your background is primarily mechanical, electrical, or a combination of both, this is an opportunity to work on highly customized hydraulic presses, screw presses, and other engineered industrial equipment built for customers around the world.

What You'll Do
- Assemble custom industrial machinery and hydraulic press systems using engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Install, wire, and test mechanical and electrical components including motors, sensors, heaters, hydraulic systems, controls, and instrumentation
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and engineering documentation
- Perform troubleshooting, testing, and adjustments throughout the machine build process
- Use precision measuring tools and diagnostic equipment to verify quality, functionality, and compliance with specifications
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to complete custom equipment builds
- Operate shop tools, overhead cranes, material handling equipment, and other production equipment safely
- Support final assembly, inspections, and production activities as needed
Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, industrial maintenance, machine building, or a related skilled trade
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and/or electrical schematics
- Experience working with industrial machinery, capital equipment, hydraulic systems, or automated equipment is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail
- Technical training, apprenticeship, associate degree, or equivalent hands-on experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug screening
