Full Time Teller
Progressions Credit Union is currently looking for a Full-Time Teller that has a strong desire to serve others, strives to be a lifelong learner, is committed to the credit union movement and has a fun-loving, go get them attitude. This position is responsible for providing excellent Member Service in person and by phone, provide information and answer questions on the credit union's products and services, and assist other team members as needed for efficient operations of the branch.
This is considered a full-time position. Candidate must be available to work Monday – Friday 8:45am – 5:45pm. Pay range is $17.50-$20.89/hr ($36,401 - $43,452 annually PLUS 10% longevity bonus after a year of employment) depending on experience. Previous teller experience is required to be eligible for the mid to top salary range.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum six (6) months of cash handling experience
- Strong math skills.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Previous experience in keyboarding/PC and 10-key calculator.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Professional appearance, dress and demeanor.
- Ability to adapt to changes and prioritize and manage competing demands.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data and understand and communicate diverse information.
- Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a variety of situations exercising flexibility and sound judgement in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to make practical and timely decisions and explain reasoning for decisions.
- Strong work ethic, including the ability to complete duties on time, consistently arrive at work on time as scheduled, and ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
General:
- Serve and assist credit union members and employees courteously and in a positive manner.
- Follow all Board and Credit Union policies.
- Be punctual in attendance and flexible with working hours.
- Have a working knowledge of the Credit Union structure, vision, available services and field of membership.
- Be professional during stressful situations and periods of peak workloads.
- Use time effectively.
- Maintain a neat, efficient workspace where members will feel comfortable and welcome.
Physical Abilities
- Must be able to regularly talk, hear, and operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
- Must have adequate vision for viewing a computer screen and reading documents.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Occasionally lift, pull/push, and carry up to 30 pounds.
Specific:
- Process teller transactions in person, via phone or mail. Examples include deposits, withdrawals, transfers, credit card payments, and loan payments.
- Balance teller drawer daily.
- Answer phone requests from members while following policies and procedures regarding the privacy of the member and the release of protected information.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
- Understand products and services offered and offer such products and services to members with each interaction.
- Complete any training or testing as required.
Expectations:
- Complete and pass required compliance training in a timely manner.
- Learn in-house computer system and be able to conduct basic transactions within 30 days of hire.
- Be punctual and reliable in attendance.
- Have a working knowledge of the Credit Union’s structure, vision, available services and field of membership.

Pay: $17.50 - $20.89 per hour
