Key Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time verbal translation between production staff, engineers, supervisors, and technical teams.
- Translate written documents such as work instructions, SOPs, training materials, and safety guidelines.
- Assist in the training of non-native speaking employees by interpreting training sessions and technical instructions.
- Document translation logs and support communication during audits, meetings, and factory visits.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Fluent in English and Spanish; professional-level interpretation and translation skills required.
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information across language barriers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP or MES systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Experience working in the automotive industry.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and various materials.
- Requires standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Full-time, with potential for overtime based on production needs.
- Shifts may include days, evenings, or weekends.
