Overview
This is a customer service position in the fence building materials industry. The Customer Service Representative will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new customers. The main functions of this role is to greet and interact with customers over the phone and in person in a positive welcoming manner. This role will interact via email/phone/in person to enter orders and quotes for customers as well as communicate internally to the warehouse / production / inventory personnel.
Duties:
- Communicate with customers in person and over the phone
- Contact current customers to coordinate deliveries and take new orders
- Contact new customers via phone to generate new sales quotes
- Collect and enter new orders and quotes on the computer
- Answer incoming customer calls
- Follow up on quotes already provided to customers
Qualifications:
- Clear and effective communication skills are critical to this role via phone, in person, and email
- Ability to use a computer effectively to include email and order entry attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask with phone/computer interactions
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
