Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- 2 - 3 years accounting experience.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA license or candidacy a bonus.
- Prepare certain Federal and state income tax returns.
- Learn and/or perform tax research.
- Become familiar with United States tax reform legislation and guidance.
- Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
- Become familiar with analyzing financial reports and book to tax differences.
- Become knowledgeable with Cg tax and accounting software solutions.
- Work with senior staff to ensure that clients comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Help research and correct any discrepancies in tax filings.
- Work with senior staff to identify tax savings strategies and client recommendations.
- Participate in training and other educational opportunities.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Cg Senior Management, when necessary.
- This position is hybrid; a combination of remote and in-office work. In-office work will be determined by Cg management and/or client needs.
Location: Hybrid
Salary Range: $70,000 - $82,000 annually
