We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CENA) to join our team at Evergreen. The CENA will provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs
- Assist with mobility and positioning of patients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Michigan
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
