Substitute Teacher Position
Salary:
Responsibilities:

Provide instruction and manage classroom environments in the absence of the regular teacher.

Perform all duties of the regular teacher, including adhering to the Board of Education approved curriculum.

Report to the principal at the assigned location.
Qualifications:
-
Must have a valid DESE teaching certificate or substitute teaching certificate.
-
DESE requires a $50 application fee for a substitute teaching certificate.
-
FBI criminal history background check with fingerprints is required.
-
It is suggested to wait until hiring before completing the background check to use the District's specific code.
Terms of Employment:
-
Substitutes work as needed and may select available jobs as their schedules allow; substitutes are not eligible for benefits.
-
Start date will be determined upon completion of the hiring and onboarding process.

Cafeteria Aide: $15.59 per hour
