Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and other custodial machinery to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained
- Handle chemical agents safely following established safety protocols and procedures for chemical handling safety
- Conduct sanitation tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, window cleaning, and surface disinfection
- Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs and residential painting as needed
- Follow safety protocol adherence during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment while maintaining safe lifting practices
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial equipment operation
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely with proper understanding of chemical handling safety procedures
- Experience with floor care including buffing, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks and general safety protocols is preferred

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
