The Human Resources Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist serves as the first impression of our company, ensuring every candidate and new hire experiences a professional, engaging, and compliant hiring process. This role partners with leadership to identify top talent, streamline recruitment efforts, and create a seamless onboarding experience that prepares employees for long-term success.
Overview
The Human Resources Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist manages full-cycle recruiting and onboarding while ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. This position partners with operational leaders to build high-performing teams, maintain employment records, and deliver an exceptional candidate and new hire experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. 1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
· Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition through offer acceptance.
· Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and recruiting strategies.
· Source, screen, interview, and coordinate qualified candidates.
· Prepare offers and maintain applicant tracking records.
· Ensure compliance with EEO and applicable employment laws.
2. 2. New Hire Onboarding & Orientation
· Coordinate pre-employment requirements, background checks, and I-9 completion.
· Facilitate orientation and onboarding.
· Coordinate equipment, system access, badges, and uniforms.
· Partner with managers to ensure successful onboarding.
3. 3. HR Compliance & Documentation
· Maintain personnel files and HRIS/ATS records.
· Protect confidential information.
· Support audits and employment compliance.
4. 4. Employee Experience & Engagement
· Promote a positive candidate and employee experience.
· Support engagement initiatives and company culture.
5. 5. Partnership with Leadership
· Advise managers on hiring best practices.
· Provide recruiting metrics and workforce planning support.
6. 6. Communication, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
· Track recruiting KPIs and recommend process improvements.
· Prepare reports for HR leadership.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
