Grill Cook / Line Cook – Afternoon Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Job Summary
Taco Palenque is looking for a dependable and energetic Grill Cook / Line Cook to join our afternoon team! As a Cook, you will prepare fresh, high-quality food while maintaining a clean, organized, and fast-paced kitchen. We are looking for team players who take pride in delivering excellent food and outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Taco Palenque recipes and standards.
- Grill fajitas, chicken, beef, and other proteins to ensure quality and consistency.
- Prepare fresh ingredients and keep food stations stocked throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
- Follow all food safety and health department regulations.
- Monitor food quality, cooking times, and product freshness.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and storing inventory properly.
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team to meet ticket times.
- Support other team members as needed during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or grill experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Schedule
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.
