EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:

Develop the course schedule for each academic term and collaborate with the Associate Vice Chancellor and the Assistant Dean to ensure the schedule efficiently utilizes faculty, classrooms, laboratories, and instructional resources while meeting student enrollment demands, accreditation requirements, and program completion needs. Coordinate course offerings, instructional assignments, and schedule adjustments as necessary.

Assist with the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of adjunct and full-time program faculty. Maintain departmental personnel records, review and approve faculty timesheets, monitor workload assignments, and ensure compliance with college policies, payroll deadlines, and applicable employment procedures.

Conduct classroom observations, monitor online course delivery, evaluate instructional effectiveness, and provide coaching and professional development recommendations. Maintain documentation of observations and corrective actions, monitor faculty compliance with institutional policies and accreditation standards, and coordinate follow-up activities as needed.

Assist with annual faculty evaluations and develop, implement, and monitor performance improvement plans when necessary. Maintain evaluation records and recommend professional development opportunities to improve instructional quality and student success.

Maintain accurate academic records related to approvals and ensure compliance with institutional policies, transfer agreements, and curriculum requirements. Oversee program accreditation activities and ensure continuous compliance with accrediting agencies, state licensing boards, and institutional standards.

Coordinate accreditation documentation, maintain required records, prepare reports, facilitate site visits, monitor corrective action plans, and respond to compliance findings in a timely manner. Assist with program assessment, data collection, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with departmental planning, inventory of instructional equipment and supplies, purchasing requests, budget monitoring, safety compliance within instructional areas, records management, committee participation, and special projects supporting the division and college.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This vacancy will be filled as a WAE (when actually employed) and is limited to work up to but not exceed 1245 hour in a 12-month period.
Work Schedule: Will work 4 hours per day for four days, and 5 hours on one day. Total of 21 hours per week.
