Position Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join our team to assist in leasing a portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in leasing, sales, or hospitality and a passion for helping prospective residents find their perfect home. You’ll be the first point of contact and a key driver in maintaining high occupancy through effective leasing and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with prospective residents in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Conduct property tours and highlight community features and available units.
- Respond to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries regarding leasing and availability.
- Process lease applications, perform background checks, and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the property's pricing, specials, and availability.
- Assist with planning and executing marketing and resident retention initiatives.
- Monitor market conditions and assist in competitive analysis.
- Use property management software (e.g., RealPage) to enter and track leasing data.
- Support the Property Manager and team with day-to-day leasing operations and resident relations.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of leasing, sales, or customer service experience (property management preferred).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and leasing/property management software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
