We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards for fine dining or casual settings
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction with excellent customer service skills
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, process payments, and provide correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods or special events like nightclubs or private parties
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Demonstrated ability in serving, bussing, hosting/hostess roles, or related guest services roles
- Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest relations
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Culinary experience or kitchen support background is a plus but not required
