Our prosthodontic office is currently seeking a part time (3 days) Dental Assistant. The successful candidate must have strong computer and verbal skills (Spanish-speaking preferred but not required), be personable, reliable and capable of multi-tasking.
About Us
Chroma Dental Studio PLLC is a prosthodontic dental office located in Green Valley Ranch. We are a low volume/high production specialty center who pride ourselves in treating the most complex cases. Ranging from single implant restoration to full mouth rehabilitation, simple tooth extraction to all on x procedure – we do it all.
Duties
- Set up and break down clinical operatories for the appropriate procedures.
- Assist prosthodontist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and materials.
- Properly disinfect/sterilize dental instruments.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Perform X-rays and manage medical/dental records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Utilize OpenDental software for patient management, scheduling, and record keeping.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Handle administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, keeping up with patient treatment plans, and patient follow-ups.
- Monthly office supply and material orders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in dental assisting or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental codes is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Experience with OpenDental or similar dental practice management systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in CPR and other relevant certifications may be required.
