American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Peoria, IL, requiring a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)

12-hour shifts in an ICU/Acute Care Unit setting
-
Weekend shifts on a rotation basis

Holiday coverage required on a rotation basis

May float to other Carle Health network facilities, including Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Pekin Hospital, and Proctor Hospital

Epic EMR used; experience required

Active IL RN license in good standing required; temporary license accepted

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)

Minimum 3 years of relevant ICU nursing experience

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Responsible for assessing patients upon admission, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and adjusting care plans based on ongoing evaluation

Maintains accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation to support continuity of care across the healthcare team

Participates in safety reporting, peer feedback, and ongoing professional development

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract

Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment with Carle Health for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any Carle Health location after reaching that threshold
