American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical Step-Down/Cardiac Telemetry unit requiring at least 1 year of intermediate care/step-down experience and an active NJ or compact RN license.

Work in the Cardiac/Telemetry Step-Down unit of a hospital setting
-
PM shift schedule of 7p-7a
-
36 hours per week across 3 shifts of 12 hours each
-
Floating required as needed, including to a nearby sister hospital
-
No on-call responsibilities

Uses Epic for charting
-
Active NJ or compact RN license required

BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
At least 1 year of Intermediate Care/Step-Down experience as an RN required

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Strong communication and computer skills required

Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

Collaborate with the healthcare team under a Shared Governance model to promote evidence-based, patient-centered care
