Schedule Details
The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Candidates should possess a technical certification or degree in a related discipline.

Background in PLC programming utilizing Siemens and Allen Bradley platforms
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field is preferred.

Proficiency in compiling data and drafting formal reports

Competency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word

Understanding of ladder logic principles
Key Responsibilities
-
Serve as the primary technical authority for all auxiliary and mill equipment, such as the furnace, mill, shears, saws, grinders, tables, and pickling line.

Engineer and construct electrical components and systems, including control, automation, and power distribution setups designed for industrial manufacturing.

Perform rigorous testing on electrical systems to ensure they operate safely and effectively.

Identify and resolve electrical malfunctions by applying necessary corrective measures.

Support the successful installation and commissioning of new machinery.
-
Keep accurate records of electrical systems, including maintenance logs, specifications, and schematics.
-
Partner with the operations team to drive improvements in product quality, process efficiency, and overall output.

Develop and oversee a robust spare parts inventory and a proactive preventive maintenance schedule.

Gain mastery of the RSLogix 5000 software to manage the mill complex effectively.
-
Develop and manage GANTT charts or similar project timelines to facilitate equipment upgrades, repairs, and capital installations.
