We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service delivery
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and quality standards
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all kitchen area
- Support menu planning by contributing creative ideas aligned with current culinary trends and guest preference
Experience
- Proven experience in a chef role within a busy restaurant or hotel kitchen environment
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining cuisine and food presentation
- Demonstrated expertise in food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Experience managing banquet or catering operations is highly desirable
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and food cost control techniques
- Background in hospitality or restaurant management is preferred but not required

Pay: $850.00 - $1,100.00 per week
