A/B-Level Performance Automotive Technician
Help Build the Future of Wragth Motorsports
Wragth Motorsports is hiring an experienced A/B-Level Performance Automotive Technician to join our growing team.
We're expanding our focus on fully curated vehicle upfits, professionally developed performance package installations, and WMS Reserve turnkey performance vehicles across late-model GM, Ford, and Mopar platforms.
This is not an entry-level position, apprenticeship, or training position.
We're looking for a technician who can walk into the shop on day one and independently perform the core work of a performance shop.
If you cannot independently complete a camshaft swap from start to finish, install long-tube headers, install a supercharger and pulley system, properly fill and bleed a cooling system, and install performance suspension components, this position is not the right fit.
We'll teach you how Wragth Motorsports operates.
We are not hiring someone to teach them how to be a performance technician.
What You'll Work On
Our technicians work on Corvettes, Camaros, Cadillac V-Series, Escalade-Vs, Mustangs, F-150s, Raptor Rs, Hellcats, Redeyes, Trackhawks, TRXs, and other late-model performance vehicles.
Typical work includes:
- GM Gen V LT camshaft and valvetrain upgrades
- HEMI camshaft and engine work
- HEMI engine builds
- LS/LT and Coyote engine work
- Ford Coyote/Predator work
- Engine removal, teardown, assembly, and installation
- Cylinder head installation
- Timing components and oil pumps
- Whipple, Magnuson, ProCharger, and similar supercharger systems
- Supercharger pulley changes
- Long-tube headers and exhaust systems
- Injector and fuel system upgrades
- Heat exchangers and intercooler systems
- Vacuum filling and bleeding cooling systems
- Suspension and lowering systems
- Performance brake systems
- Transmission and driveline work
- Complete WMS performance package installations
- Fully curated vehicle upfits
- WMS Reserve turnkey vehicle builds
Our builds regularly range from 700 to 1,200+ horsepower, but horsepower is only part of our standard.
We build complete vehicles that need to perform, drive properly, remain reliable, and have the fit and finish expected from a professional performance shop.
You Must Already Know How To
We're looking for someone with real hands-on performance experience who can independently:
- Complete a camshaft swap from teardown through final assembly
- Perform Gen V LT and/or HEMI valvetrain work
- Properly set and verify engine timing
- Remove, disassemble, assemble, and install engines
- Install cylinder heads
- Install complete supercharger systems
- Perform pulley changes

- Perform compression and leak-down testing
- Diagnose common mechanical and drivability problems
- Use professional scan tools to read DTCs, monitor live data, perform resets/relearns, and assist with diagnostics
- Follow factory service information, torque specifications, and manufacturer procedures
You don't need to know every vehicle platform.
You do need to know performance automotive work.
Preferred Platform Experience
Strong experience with at least one manufacturer is required. Experience across multiple platforms is preferred.
GM: LS, Gen V LT, LT1, LT2, LT4, LT5, L87, L8T
Ford: 5.0 Coyote, Predator, Mustang, F-150, Raptor R
Mopar: 5.7 HEMI, 6.4 HEMI, Hellcat, Redeye, Trackhawk, TRX
Gen V LT camshaft experience and HEMI engine-building experience are especially valuable for this position.

- Takes accountability for their work
- Maintains a positive, solution-oriented attitude
- Works well with the rest of the team
- Keeps unnecessary negativity and drama out of the workplace
If something doesn't look right, investigate it.
