American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring prior travel experience, Cerner proficiency, and combined adult/pediatric ED skills on a night shift schedule.

Emergency Department (ED) setting in a hospital environment

Combined adult and pediatric patient population

Patient ratio of 1:4-6

Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

Every other weekend required, with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday and Saturday nights)

Cerner EMR — experience required

Active MD or Compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS

Minimum 2 years of ED experience required

At least 1 prior completed travel nursing assignment required

Experience with combined adult/pediatric emergency department settings required

Cerner EMR experience required
-
2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Royal blue scrubs required — not provided by the facility

Orientation is held every Monday

Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
