Bartender- Mixologist Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time and Part-Time, dynamic, high-performing individuals with a zest for flavor and a warm, inviting smile. If you possess an inquisitive palate and have experience in the art of mixing, we invite you to join our team. Your role will be to attentively listen to our guests’ desires and expertly recommend delightful handcrafted cocktails tailored to their tastes. You will be working with our exceptional Bar Manager and lead Mixologist to curate seasonal menus that will drive sales and offer our guests unique options to choose from. · Welcome guests in an inviting manner
· Use dialogue to determine guests wants/needs and make recommendations based on accrued knowledge
· Make guests aware of new cocktails and seasonal specials with proper, adequate descriptions
· Make suggestions concerning specifics liquors that could potentially amplify the guests drinking experience
· Have exceptional knowledge of barware, bar functionality and an eye for detail
· Keep workspaces clean and upkept throughout shift
· Check in with oncoming staff for final needs before clocking out
· Maintenance of customer spaces (clearing unused dishware, glasses, etc..)
· Have a base knowledge of the more popular, well-known cocktails
· Be capable of maintaining conversation with guests while multitasking with other bartender duties
· Ability to perform in high stress dinner hours while maintaining a calm demeanor
· 2+ years experience in a fine dining establishment
· 3+ years experience bartending
· Of legal age to serve alcohol
· TABC and Food Handlers
· Ability to take direction and a desire to learn
· Positivity and an open mind with an appropriate, professional appearance
· Capable of performing bar duties for 6-8 hours (standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 30 lbs..)
· Available days, nights, weekends and holidays
