Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Hardware Installation & Quality
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine hardware type, quantity, and installation location.
- Verify blueprint orientation before installation.
- Set and verify equipment pressure settings to ensure proper installation without damaging parts.
- Operate hardware insertion equipment following established procedures.
- Select the appropriate installation method based on part geometry and hardware type.
- Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions and hardware requirements.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Complete work according to assigned priorities and production schedules.
Production Support
- Verify the correct job, revision, and traveler before beginning work.
- Maintain production output and promptly report issues affecting quality, workflow, or delivery.
- Support other production areas as needed, including deburring, assembly, packaging, material handling, or general shop support.
- Participate in cross-training to support operational flexibility.
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Push 25–40 lbs as needed.
- Carry up to 25 lbs for short distances.
- Stand or remain stationary for most of the shift.
- Walk, bend, kneel, and squat as required.
Skills
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

- Ability to identify defects and report process issues.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year of hardware installation or related manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted hours as needed.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
