Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest waitlists and seating arrangements efficiently using white board and markers.
- Handle cashier duties accurately, processing orders and payments with attention to detail
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, reservations, or general hotel services
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and cashier area to promote a welcoming environment
Experience
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong background in food service and guest relations, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with older style cash registers
- Experience in customer service roles within hotels or similar hospitality environments is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of serving protocols and guest services to enhance overall guest satisfaction
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster guest loyalty and resolve concerns effectively
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
