Southridge Builders is looking for an experienced construction professional to join our team as an Assistant Foreman / Working Foreman. This is a hands-on leadership position supporting our Lead Foreman on custom homes, additions, ADUs, major remodels, and restoration projects throughout Southern Oregon.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in the field, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is ready to grow into a larger leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Foreman with daily job site operations.
- Perform skilled carpentry and general construction work.
- Help coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and daily schedules.
- Ensure projects meet Southridge's quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and office staff.
- Step into a leadership role when the Lead Foreman is unavailable.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential construction experience.
- Strong carpentry skills.
- Experience with painting and siding installation.
- Working knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, remodeling, and residential construction.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans.
- Dependable, organized, and self-motivated.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience leading small crews or managing portions of projects.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
