Job Summary

Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is in proper working order
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed
- Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with cleanup after events
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met at all times
- Keep the kitchen area tidy by disposing of waste properly and organizing supplies for easy access
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a hygienic workspace
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary operations
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation is a plus but can be provided during training
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
