Overview
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of advanced electromechanical systems. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with engineering teams to execute test procedures, diagnose system issues, and contribute to the development and improvement of high-performance products.This is a 12-month onsite contract role based in Mequon, WI.Responsibilities
- Support engineering activities including testing, debugging, and validation of servo drive and motor systems
- Perform operational testing, fault isolation, and troubleshooting on systems and equipment
- Execute test procedures using schematics, diagrams, layouts, and defined plans
- Identify root causes of malfunctions and assist in implementing corrective solutions
- Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test tools
- Document test results, observations, and technical findings clearly and accurately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders to share technical insights
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical or engineering support role
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in electronic and/or mechanical systems
- Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and practical problem-solving
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with servo drive and motor systems
- Technical certification or relevant coursework (up to 1 year preferred)

Pay: Up to $37.36 per hour
