Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Morrisville, PA 19067
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (with possible extension)
Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $36/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments in accordance with the established plan of care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Monitor, document, and report patient progress and response to treatment.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and prescribed home exercise programs.
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, infection control practices, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
- Active Pennsylvania PTA License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
