American Traveler is hiring a Chemo-Certified RN for an outpatient oncology clinic position requiring prior outpatient clinic and phone triage experience at a large Level I Trauma Center academic medical center.

Outpatient multispecialty clinic setting within a large academic medical center (1,567 beds)
-
Chemo unit serving breast oncology, breast surgery, and plastic surgery patients
-
Duties include telephone triage, in-basket management, assisting providers during clinic visits, and new and return patient visits

Pre-op/post-op teaching and chemotherapy patient education responsibilities

Day shift: 4x9-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Parking available at $125/month

Active CT or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required
-
Chemotherapy certification required
-
Minimum outpatient clinic experience required

Phone triage experience required
-
Prior experience at a large trauma center facility required

Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions

1 professional reference required for consideration

Flu vaccine required; declinations are not accepted

COVID vaccine required; religious or medical exemptions accepted

Large Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center environment

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler

Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility during the assignment

Travelers may be required to participate in emergency or natural disaster response activities
