Job Overview

Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement patient care plans effectively.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Assist in mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members regarding patient status and needs.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
- Experience in assisted living or critical care settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and systems is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently when needed.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by healthcare regulations.
