Position Overview:
The Paver Operator is responsible for operating asphalt paving machines to lay smooth, consistent asphalt surfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Operate asphalt paver and screed safely and efficiently
- Adjust screed for proper depth and grade
- Communicate with crew to maintain steady material flow
- Perform daily equipment inspections
- Maintain clean, safe operation of equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous asphalt paver experience required
- Ability to read grade and elevation
- Strong understanding of paving operations
- Mechanical knowledge a plus
