Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p
Pay Range: $28.00-$37.00 depending on skill/experience plus quarterly bonus
Join our team at Heyco, a PennEngineering Company—a cutting-edge American manufacturer with 100 years of expertise. We are looking for a Tool & Die Maker to fabricate, repair, and maintain precision tooling including dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. This hands-on role supports our manufacturing operations by ensuring high-quality tooling, tight tolerances, and safe, efficient production.
Essential Duties
- Plan, build, alter, and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to close tolerances
- Perform complex toolroom operations, fitting, timing, and adjustments
- Select materials and plan construction methods
- Account for heat-treat shrinkage and metal flow in dies
- Conduct tool tryouts and troubleshoot tooling issues
- Diagnose and correct problems in complex dies and tools
- Follow all quality and safety procedures
- Work overtime as business needs require
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical training; or high school diploma/GED with at least two years of tool & die experience; or equivalent combination
- Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics
- Proficiency in basic shop math, trigonometry, and SPC
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Work in an environment with moving machinery, noise, vibration, and airborne particles
- Required use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard-toed shoes
