American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring cardiac telemetry experience and a NC or compact RN license.

Work in a high-level, high-functioning Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with multiple long-term patients
-
1:5 patient ratio
-
3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
Weekend and holiday rotation required
-
No call responsibilities
-
Floating required between all Cone Health campuses as needed
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Active RN license (NC or Compact) in hand at time of consideration

Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
-
Cardiac telemetry experience required
-
Experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
-
Peripheral line care/management and PICC line management experience
-
Experience titrating drips
-
Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG competency exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)

Manage and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias for a complex, high-acuity patient population
-
Provide peripheral and PICC line care and management
-
Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips as needed
