Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing exceptional care to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. This role is vital in ensuring a supportive and efficient environment within our clinic, helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. We are looking for someone with open availability that can commit to 15 hours a week. Our clinic is open Monday-Friday and is closed Saturday and Sunday.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists during patient treatments and therapy sessions.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is available and in good working condition.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks, ensuring they perform movements safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sanitizing equipment after each use.
Qualifications:
- Pre-physical therapy/allied health degree track preferred or background in health/wellness or personal training.
- Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently within a busy clinic setting.
