Responsibilities
- Efficiently deliver food from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in food handling areas
- Clear and clean tables promptly through bussing and cleaning duties, maintaining a tidy dining environment
- Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting supplies, dishes, or equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Engage with guests courteously, providing friendly service that enhances their overall experience
- Operate Toast POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
Experience
- Prior food service experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Familiarity with food running, serving, and guest services enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Experience with Toast POS systems is advantageous but training will be provided
- Knowledge of safe manual handling practices and heavy lifting techniques ensures safety during daily tasks
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and engaging with guests effectively
- Previous culinary or kitchen experience helps in understanding food preparation standards and safety procedures
