Pop Pie Co. and Stella Jean's Ice Cream are looking for an energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Catering & Events Team Member to help bring our award-winning pies and handcrafted ice cream to weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private celebrations throughout San Diego and Orange County.

When catering events are lighter, you'll also support our retail locations as a Guest Service Associate, delivering exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, organize, and fulfill catering orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with our Production Kitchen and retail teams to ensure timely event execution.
- Load, transport, and unload catering equipment, food, and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Set up, serve, and break down catering events while maintaining our high standards of presentation and hospitality.
- Deliver friendly, professional service while representing the Pop Pie Co. and Stella Jean's brands.
- Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards are maintained throughout each event.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Assist with inventory, equipment organization, and event preparation.
- Support our retail shops during non-catering periods by assisting guests, preparing food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
What We're Looking For
- At least one year of experience in food service, hospitality, catering, events, or customer service.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Availability to work Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and occasional evenings based on event schedules.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, climb stairs, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely load, unload, and transport catering equipment and supplies.
