We are seeking a dedicated and passionate person to work at Kings School as a classroom teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students, fostering their academic and personal growth. This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the diverse needs of students.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
- Provide individualized support through tutoring and specialized instruction for students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education services.
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure all students achieve their learning goals.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to promote student success and address any concerns.
- Incorporate physical education activities into the curriculum to promote overall health and well-being among students.
- Foster a safe environment that encourages social interaction, teamwork, and respect among peers.
- Stay informed about childhood development principles to better understand student behavior and learning processes.
Skills
- Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management.
- Proficient in subjects such as Math, with the ability to tutor students as needed.
- Knowledge of special education practices to support students with varying abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
- Understanding of childhood development theories to enhance teaching strategies.
- Experience in childcare settings is an advantage.
- Ability to engage students in physical education activities that promote fitness and teamwork.

Pay: $41,500.00 - $51,639.00 per year
