Senior Product Manager – Digital Products & Services (Hybrid – Brooklyn, NY)
About OZ Solutions Group:
OZ Solutions Group is a Brooklyn-based technology staffing and consulting firm supporting large-scale public sector and enterprise technology programs across New York City and New York State. We place experienced technologists on high-visibility digital modernization initiatives that serve millions of residents.
Position Overview:
- Start Date: Mid-August 2026
- Duration: Approximately 6 months (~910 hours), with potential for extension
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, normal business hours, 35 hours/week
- Work Type: Hybrid — 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
- Location: Brooklyn, NY 11201
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of public-facing digital applications and services. You will own the product from concept through launch and into continuous delivery, acting as the connective tissue between program strategy, user experience, and engineering on a citywide initiative expanding access to child care services.
This is a hands-on product role, not a program oversight role. The right person has personally shipped digital products that real end users depend on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full product lifecycle — conception through launch, continuous delivery, and ongoing support
- Build and maintain product roadmaps that define direction, sequencing, and timing
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative research, analytics, and desk research to identify real user problems and validate that proposed features solve them
- Decide what to build to maximize user value and program impact; prioritize ruthlessly and filter out requests that don't drive strategic outcomes
- Define, instrument, and monitor outcomes and KPIs to drive evidence-based prioritization
- Partner with program owners to establish success metrics for each product
- Translate user needs into clear requirements and guide UX and engineering teams toward outcome-driven delivery
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and system requirements; work directly with UX and engineering on technical feasibility and architecture
- Manage stakeholders across multiple partner organizations, treating them as customers of the product
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years in a product management role, directly supporting the launch of digital features and products for end users using SDLC best practices
- Hands-on experience taking digital products through the full cycle: planning, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Demonstrated expertise using data to drive decisions and prioritize requests, enhancements, and new features
- Experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data (e.g., Google Analytics) into product decisions
- Experience working across multiple ecosystems, platforms, and emerging technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to complex, multi-stakeholder challenges
- Proven ability to manage multiple products simultaneously — from strategy down to executional detail
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Track record of aligning diverse groups and perspectives around a shared goal
- Self-motivated and proactive; thrives in a collaborative, transparent environment
Preferred:
- Prior experience delivering public-sector, civic tech, or government digital services
- Experience with products serving high-volume, diverse public user bases, including accessibility and multilingual considerations
Compensation & Additional Information:
Competitive hourly rate: commensurate with experience.
Overtime beyond 35 hours/week requires advance approval. A background check may be required for the selected candidate.
