Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a pivotal role utilizing advanced MRI technology in a dynamic imaging environment. This contract position is ideal for an experienced MRI Technologist who thrives working independently and is committed to excellence in patient care. The assignment spans a minimum of 13 weeks, supporting outpatient imaging across three local sites.
Schedule & Structure:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed)
- Shifts may be scheduled any day, Monday through Sunday
- No nights or on-call required
Key Qualifications:
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- Minimum 5 years of MRI Technologist experience in a clinical setting
- Proven ability to start IVs independently
- Experience working as the sole technologist per MRI machine
- Familiarity with Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI equipment strongly preferred
- Knowledge and use of the Epic EMR system required
- MRSO certification and experience assisting with breast biopsies and research studies preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols
- Initiate and manage intravenous contrast administration safely and independently
- Adapt to multiple work sites as needed among three nearby outpatient centers
- Contribute to research studies and assist with specialized procedures, including breast biopsies, as needed
- Maintain thorough, accurate records and documentation within Epic
- Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout the imaging process
