Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will serve as the welcoming overnight presence and financial check-and-balance for our resort. This vital role combines exceptional overnight guest service with crucial end-of-day financial auditing, ensuring seamless front desk operations, accurate daily reporting, and a safe, quiet environment for our guests throughout the night.
Duties
· Greet overnight arriving and departing guests warmly, managing late check-ins, early check-outs, and handling guest inquiries or requests with outstanding hospitality
· Perform night audit procedures, including balancing the day's financial transactions, reconciling room revenue and guest accounts, and running daily end-of-day property management system (PMS) reports
· Audit, verify, and post daily charges, payments, and room rates across departments to ensure mathematical accuracy and resolve posting discrepancies
· Oversee overnight front desk operations, managing phone inquiries, guest messaging, and night shift log entries to support seamless morning handoffs
· Handle late-night emergency situations or guest safety concerns with composure, professionalism, and adherence to resort security protocols
· Assist with preparing morning reports, reviewing upcoming arrivals, coordinating early departures, and supporting morning front desk and housekeeping teams with preliminary scheduling details
· Maintain accurate records in spreadsheets, verify audit checklists, and support general clerical and accounting functions for management review
Skills
· Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), along with strong numerical literacy and data entry accuracy
· Strong basic accounting or bookkeeping skills, with experience auditing transactions, balancing ledgers, or working with financial software
· Proven ability to work independently during overnight shifts, demonstrating strong self-motivation, time management, and attention to detail
· Excellent communication and customer service skills, with strong phone etiquette and conflict-resolution abilities
· Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse resort guests effectively
High level of reliability, integrity, and composure when handling guest requests or unexpected issues overnight
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
