Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and electrical components using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations in accordance with safety standards and electrical codes.
- Carry out residential painting projects to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facility’s interior and exterior spaces.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, coordinating with vendors or contractors as needed.
- Use schematics and technical diagrams to interpret system layouts for repairs or upgrades.
- Lead small teams or supervise maintenance activities when required, demonstrating leadership and customer service skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, PLCs, welding techniques, and the use of tools such as ohmmeters.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration.
- Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance or related fields preferred.
- Hands-on experience with residential painting.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces safely.
