Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist who enjoys working in a high-volume, multi-state payroll environment? Our client, a well-established organization in the Dodgeville area, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team immediately.
This is a great opportunity to work alongside an experienced Payroll Manager and tenured payroll team member while supporting payroll operations for approximately 5,000 employees across nearly all 50 states.
What You'll Do
- Process high-volume, multi-state payroll
- Research and respond to payroll tax and IRS notices
- Manage garnishments and employee payroll deductions
- Complete payroll tax balancing and reconciliations
- Maintain employee payroll records and system setups
- Support payroll compliance across multiple states, including California and New York
- Assist with payroll audits and reporting as needed
- Utilize UKG for payroll and time & attendance processing
Qualifications
- Experience processing payroll for large employee populations
- Strong multi-state payroll experience
- Knowledge of payroll taxes, tax balancing, and reconciliations
- Experience handling garnishments and IRS notices
- Proficiency with payroll systems; UKG experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
