Steel Rails Coffee House is looking for an experienced, customer-service focused Barista to join our team! We are an established coffee shop known for specialty drinks and great food. If you love coffee, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a busy environment, we’d love to meet you.
Must have an open, flexible schedule and be available to work a variety of shifts Monday-Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including lattes, cappuccinos, and espresso drinks
- Prepare sandwiches and food items
- Take customer orders and provide friendly, exceptional service
- Operate and maintain espresso machines and brewing equipment
- Keep the dining room and all work areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Restock coffee, milk, syrups, and supplies
- Handle cash and POS transactions
- Follow all health and food safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in food service or coffee
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and orders
- Attention to detail and pride in creating high-quality drinks and food
Schedule Requirements
Must be available 4–5 shifts per week
Weekdays:
Monday – Friday
7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekends (Rotating Weekends):
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
Start and End times will vary depending on opening & closing.
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
