Position Summary
The Installer is responsible for the installation of commercial foodservice equipment, refrigeration systems, ice machines, and HVAC equipment at customer locations. This role also supports Service Technicians with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs in the field as needed.
Successful candidates are safety-focused, customer-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently while representing CSI professionally at all times.
What You’ll Do
- Install commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment
- Assist Service Technicians and Trainers with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment
- Support equipment delivery, loading, and unloading
- Accurately document work performed using electronic dispatch/service software
- Communicate with the Parts and Service Departments regarding needed parts and follow-up service
- Work directly with manufacturers, sales representatives, dealers, and customers as needed
- Maintain organized tools, parts inventory, and company vehicle
- Follow all safety procedures and best practices
- Promote additional CSI services when appropriate
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
- Maintain productivity and service quality standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- Must own standard industry hand tools
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in food service equipment repair, HVAC, refrigeration, or related fields
- Experience with gas, electric, plumbing, and/or steam systems preferred
